This mysterious #malbec from anywhere #Argentina arrived today w/35 other #bottles of #wine. All had labels indicating something about the #winery except this one. Twisted the #screwcap, poured some into my #zalto & tasted. The name is right. Very much a nose of rich, ripe, freshly sliced #passionfruit with loads of raw vibrancy. Not at all a massive #malbec w/overbearing fruit. At just a few months of age, this pup has no baby fat, which was great. Also believe it is a low to no #so2 #wine due to its energy & a wild, stony character w/surging palate momentum of zinging fruit, & balance. This good stuff. Need to know more about where and who made it. For now will "say" it's a thoroughly yummy, #organic #wine to drink sooner rather than later. — 9 years ago

#winery just bought by #jacksonfamily wines and I completely understand why. Amazing. #yarravalley #chardonnay pale lemon color, the wine has pronounced aromas of citrus (lemon, nectarine and grapefruit) and stone fruit (apricot) with secondary aromas of toast, flint and butter. On the palate the wine is dry with medium (+) acidity, medium/high 13,5% alcohol, medium(+) body and pronounced flavours. With a certain hint of lemon yoghurt and cream. Medium (+) Creamy finish.
