Stone fruits prancing upon my nose & mouth with a ripping line of “drink heaps more of me” acid underpinning a generously textured mid-palate. Lengthy finish. Yum! A dexterously crafted Chardonnay of minimalist intervention leanings. Super beautiful. — 2 months ago
Massively volatile upon uncorking but after a half hour of aggressive glass swirling, it’s come around a bit. Packing a schwack of heat, somewhat sweet, yet not sappy thanks to some zippy acids. That afore mentioned VA does tip it’s hat in final back palate, retro-nasal farewell. Some folks will dislike this wine. Some will swoon and lap it like a dog does peanut butter. Dislikers most likely technical winemakers, old school buffs. Swooners most likely natty winemakers & instagram hipsters seeking peer approval. Me? Just a fella who enjoys balanced booze, and while this is decent, that VA is a bit too much for my personal preference. Will argon it and sip again tomorrow. — 3 months ago
Delectable has its info wrong. No Chardonnay or Pinot Meunier. Mainly Pinot Blanc, with the balance made up with Riesling and Pinot Noir. The Riesling lends some electricity via its high acid. Thanks to zero dosage, the wine is crisper than Wyoming winter morning. Much love for this wine! — 4 months ago
Wow. Wonderful wine. Crunchy minerals, invitingly textural, and super sapid acidity with just a hint of electric effervescence. Developing into a multilayered joy machine. Japanese nashi pear & shiro momo joining the flavor festival. Indigenous Carricante grape representing the majority of the blend with Grecanico, aka Garganega of Soave, rounding it out. Delightful juice. — 3 months ago
