Love this wine, opens on the nose like baby powder typical Willamette Valley Pinot perfume pop, and settles down immediately into a vanilla BlackBerry. Young, for sure, but totally drinkable now, tastes good with all sorts of things, strongly recommend it for day-to-day deliciousness. Turns into magic with Kalamata olives baked into a Greek chicken. Good with or without food. — 2 days ago
I'm a big fan. Smooth, bold flavors, and rich. Very easy to drink. — 2 days ago
Purple Haze in the glass - nose of blackberry cobbler, tobacco and grilled plum. Bold and rich with velvety tannins, well balanced acidity and fruit that is all there. So plush, jammy and lively on the sip. Tobacco leaf returns with a dash of cream, espresso and minerals. Nudge of sage of the back of the palate with a tremendous envelope of black fruit to close with a banging finish. Decant is a must- — 18 days ago

Deep ruby in color with a reddish rim.
Very fruity on the nose with black currants, plums, blackberries, licorice, chocolates, coffee, light bell pepper, coffee, leather, vanilla, violets, light alcohol and peppercorn.
Full bodied with medium plus acidity, rich and bold with long legs.
Dry and very fruity on the palate with blackberries, black currants, plums, bell pepper, cherries, oak, vanilla, licorice, earth, spices, chocolates, leather and lots of peppercorn.
Long finish with medium tannins and tart raspberries.
A great Merlot from McLaren Vale, Australia. Complex and interesting, with a big mouthfeel. Balanced and enjoyable by itself or with food.
This 2014 has much less alcohol (15% compared to the 17%).
Already drinking nicely and will improve in the next few years in the bottle.
I enjoyed it with assorted hard cheeses, appetizers and great company.
15% alcohol by volume. — 16 days ago
So so good - 60 min decant - so glad I opened to celebrate some victories for my wife who was not happy with the first Sunday wine - this baby is beyond singing and to quote my friend @Martin G Rivard and singing like a rockstar
Color is derp derp red - nose is extremely aromatic - taste is magnificent which is rich but smooth, balanced but structured - tannins are releasing - finish is long warm but no heat and lasts forever - I love Moone-Tsai and the Howell MTN speaks to me - it says Big Bold and Beautiful - just incredible - SMILING on Sunday - all is good in the universe — 2 days ago
