Beautiful nose of black pepper, cocoa and dark fruit, lifted by citrus zest and a touch of kirsch.
On the palate this wine showes a gorgeous, truly old-world-kind-of restraint and balance mainly due to a wonderful and refreshing acidic core, understated forestfruit and peppery plums, flint and gunpowder, plus soft and spicy tannines that are integrating beautifully. Utterly charming, lush, convincing and delicious!
Drinking very well right now, but needs an hour of aeration to really open up.

Way to young, of course.. so slightly dominated by oak at the moment. So, if you have some, I'd advise you to wait three or four years.
Toast, butterscotch, hazelnut, vanilla, red apples and peach.
