Blend of 95% Tempranillo, 4% Graciano and 1% Mazuelo, aged 28 months in French oak, deep Ruby with garnet edges, aromas of ripe fruits, vanilla spice and oaky notes. On the palate flavors of ripe plum, blackberry and currants with vanilla, tobacco and cedar notes. Fine structured tannins, long finish, savory ending with tobacco, oak and leather notes. Classic Chardonnay in style popular 20 years ago with oaky overtone especially as it opens up. Initially lots of fruit. Great with chicken. February 2023. — a month ago
Grassy and vegetal notes on the nose, with hints of ear and green apple evening things out, with a medium, surprisingly syrupy body. The palate was rich, with a slight oaky characteristic, and floral palate but a very vegetal finish. Very interesting new world alternative to New Zealand Sav Blanca’s I feel. — 5 months ago
Strong oaky flavor. Would do well when paired with zesty food — a month ago
