High toned. Cranberry & pomegranate lead to some richer raspberry notes. The nose shows similar character, but adds a spiciness as it takes on air. She is truly a Grenache whisperer. Love it in every vintage and this one delivers beautifully. — 11 hours ago
Fresh apples & citrus with a strong mineral component. Crisp acidity lifts the wine & the complete package is hard to resist. The aromatics are the star here. Similar fruity notes with an assortment of herbal nuance keeps bringing you back. Excellent. — 5 days ago
A one of a kind wine. One of the only producers in the Provençal Alps. The blend is 50% Syrah, 30% Mourvèdre, 10% Grenache 10% Cabernet. All of the fruit was lost in the 2017 vintage, so other vignerons throughout Provence provided fruit & this Cuvee Speciale was born. Ripe forest berries & smoke. Wonderfully textured & layered. Pick one up if you find one. — 3 days ago
I followed the instructions on the bottle & have this a few hours of slow ox. The nose is full of flowers, almond notes & fresh ripe berries. Darker berries on the palate with some higher tones across the finish. Ethereal weight, with ample structure. This is old school wine which ages beautifully and a producer I should drink more often.

When the producer’s name is Marsanne and the wine is 100% Marsanne, it seems like the pressure goes up a bit. Decanted this as it was pretty grumpy at first. It has opened into stunning & pure mango with some citrus zest. Lots of power, but a perfect weight on the palate. The spicy/floral aromatics need that air to fully emerge, and they really become hypnotic once they do. Beautiful. — 4 days ago
