The benchmark in Friuli for this variety. Subtle, saline, complex. Elegant, as always. I believe this is a proprietary clone that doesn’t develop candied, chemical aromas & flavors. Well-made, like all RDC wines. #ribollagialla #friuli — 7 years ago
Provate! #fumawine #refosco #friuli #italianwines — 7 years ago
#Chardonnay from #friuli, always great. Citrus, mango and pineapple. Lots of Woody vanillas without being an oak bomb. Perhaps a bit too young, but a voluptueus body. — 6 years ago
Vintage 2015 / Luncheonwine on saturday with herring beetroot salad. Good combination. Vibrant and crisp #pinotgris with only shy spicyness. From #friuli. I love each wine of La Tunella. — 6 years ago
Vintage 2007 - I do like évery wine of La Tunella, and this one is very good indeed! It has a very complex smell with cedar, leather, chocolate and lots of cherries. A very smooth taste, no tannins that are disturbing, a touch of sweet thanks to lots of sunshine, powerfull. It's a great example what a winemaker can do with original grapes. 50% pignolo, 50% schopettino #friuli #pignolo #schopetinno #loveit — 8 years ago

QPR - what happens when the bottom number, $, goes really small? Ans: QPR thorough the roof. This #friuli #pinotgrigio is rockin’ : lemon, touch of white flowers, some crushed limestone aromas. Delicious acidity up front, some beeswax, lemon oil, more weighty on palate than you would expect, crisp finish. Irrationally quaffable at $5 a bottle - thank you #costcowines — a year ago
