If you like Assyrtiko but want to venture farther into #greek whites, this is a great next step. White floral, touch of honeysuckle, almond paste aromas. Medium bodied yet still crisp, stony lemon and citrus pith notes as it warms in the glass. #malagousia #greekwines — 4 months ago

Lighter-style #bordeaux, youthful yet subtle black/purple fruit nose, medium body, chewy persistent tannins trailing each sip. Commendable QPR #costcowines. — 7 months ago
citrus lemon grapefruit honey aromatics, more textured than most #bordeauxblanc wines at this price point. Excellent QPR. — 19 days ago
Crushable #corsicanwine #patrimonio #nielluccio dominant #grenache blend. Medium ruby color, opens up in the glass to a blend of red fruit and earthy, almost charcuterie nose. Mouthwatering acidity on the palate, red fruit and meaty character continues, firm tannins on a longish finish. This would be great with a charcuterie board. — 3 months ago
2021 was a cooler finesse year in CdP and it shows with this wine. Savory nose: charcuterie, dried plums and fig. It doesn’t drink hot, plenty of snappy acidity, some spicy notes, wild cherry and grippy tannins on the finish. I’ll be seeking out more 2021 CdPs based on this one. #châteauneufdupape — 4 months ago
After 10 years in the bottle, a decidedly savory second wine from this storied Second Growth château. Meaty, almost Northern Rhône character after uncorking. After a day in wine fridge the charcuterie notes ease a bit, blackberry, stewed cassis start to edge forward, classic #pauillac graphite and mineral notes that carry through on palate. Lovely tension on the palate and persistent fine tannins through the finish. — 7 months ago
Crisp white, light lemon color. Moderately aromatic, lemon, grapefruit on the nose. Light body, sky-high acidity, sour citrus and grapefruit carry through on the palate. Delicious #lugana summer white wine. — a month ago
Boutique #santabarbaracounty Chardonnay. I was a bit worried after uncorking as it presented an assertive reductive funk. A few days in wine fridge mellowed it out completely. While shy on the aromatics it’s just a lovely Zen-like palate sensation of creamy texture, vigorous acidity and honey + lemon notes on the mouthwatering finish. I appreciate the low-intervention transparent winemaking: https://www.sabelli-frisch.com/wines/2023-linnae — 4 months ago

Intriguing MX #valledeguadalupe #merlot . Initially pretty heavy on the new oak but after a few days that blew off, stewed fruit + fresh black/purple fruit jam nose with a basement of earth. On the palate tastes similar except for an overlay of saline which is fascinating. — 9 days ago
