Big QPR #sancerre - while less layered than fancier examples from the AOC, still that fine balance between crispness and more richness than you expect from #sauvignonblanc - I can envision this with a not-spicy crab fried rice. — 3 years ago
Sharp citrus, apricot on the muzzle. Palate features sour citrus, apricot, delicious acidity and a mineral backbone. Beautiful ~$15 #sancerre from Costco displays heavenly QPR. — 4 years ago
White gold to light straw. Faintest sweet propane note shows grapefruit peel and green apple, flinty and broken rocks, lemon oils, lime pith and cold fat. Rich lemon juiciness with zest of lime, salted lemon, white grapefruit. Citrus rich fruitiness booms, but finish of chalky and dry grapefruit pith brings a refreshing salivation, instantly and stunningly impressive.

Characteristic #sancerre - leans more gooseberry & stone fruit with less prominent grassy aromas. Creamy texture on palate - delicious wine. — 4 years ago
Razzy, with a bouquet of lemon verbena and oregano immersed in lime and chalk. Real depth here, with gooseberry predominate, and fresh sage a close second. Tangerine and grapefruit pith paying dividends. Generous, with the acid to back it up. Highly recommended.

I love #delectable I find that most everybody scores spot on and that when a wine has been tasted by a good number of tasters, the average score is near perfect almost always. Take this wine, I was let down. I love #pinotnoir and I don’t get to taste Pinots from #sancerre often and I was excited but then this wine was so blasé it had medium ruby color, medium(-) simple aromas of red fruits with hints of anis and fennel. and both on the nose and on the palate it didn’t even seem like Pinot to me. — 6 years ago
#sancerre #rose 100% #pinotnoir - Strawberry, cranberry aromas, the opulent texture on the palate sets it apart from most Provençal rosé. — 2 years ago
Dazzling value from #costcowines. Letting this one warm up quite a bit will reward you with a beautiful nose: apricot, persimmon, touch of lemon, faint lemongrass. Lovely palate balance, touch of zippy spice on the end. Ludicrous value at $16 these days for #sancerre — 2 years ago
My first #sancerre #rouge - a delicate #pinotnoir, light cherry, rose nose, some faint petrol and tar notes recall German Pinots, juicy acidity and medium light body, savory soft tannins on a longer finish. — 4 years ago
One of the best #sancerre examples I’ve had, up there with the Cotat clan’s offerings. Ripe white peach, a touch of lemongrass, floral aromas meld into a beautifully balanced, luscious apricot-reminiscent #sauvignonblanc expression in the mouth. This is yet another Costco wine that I should have bought more than one bottle of. — 5 years ago
