#aglianico from #irpinia #vintage 2010 from this amazing #winery lively fruit, perfectly balanced acidity with sensations of ripe cranberry and red currants.

Maybe a bit too tannic but still tasty. Spice and funk.

2011 - wonderful enticing spicy herbal aromas, refreshing tartness, kaleidoscopic roller coaster on palate, great with pork rillette, good structure but even better that which I know not, lovely

Medium minus ruby, a bit cloudy. Stewed strawberries, cherry, wet dirt, iron, Shivaji mushrooms, red roses, Moroccan spice mix. Medium plus acidity, medium minus sugar.

2010, Cantina Giardino, Le Fole, IGP Campania Aglianico. A little bit lighter Aglianico than I am used to. Tart black and red fruit, spicy after some air, lavender and a little earthy. Good acidity and some tannins on the finish but not as tannic as some other Aglianicos that I have had. Paired well with home made Pizza Margherita.

Immense tannins like drinking through a stem. Around an inch of silt in the bottom of the bottle. Excellent viticultural fantasy artwork.
