Glorious nose of apricot, peach and minerals. Very pretty. Smells like if the ocean was made of Riesling. Palate is gorgeous and a bit backwards with pink grapefruit, tangelo and apricot. Gorgeous purity and depth. Killer acidity but needs to come together. Nose gets herbal with air. Also some spice. Palate has great concentration and such an intense mineral sheen. Juicy and linear and wonderful delineation on the finish. Nose is confectionary beyond. Wet, damp earth. Salty, juicy, clean. So ludicrous. Succulent. This is killer on day 2. Wow. So concentrated and deep. Unreal tension. 9.6 9.7 overnight. The sap and intensity are world class. — 2 days ago

@GaryWEdwards King of white wine for me. Germany is the place to start...Pfalz and Rheinhessen. Obviously dry and anything with GG on the bottle will be good. 2011, 2015 and 2018 habe been recent excellent vintages. K.P. Keller is the king of riesling...very expensive and hard to get but just unbeatable. After that its trial and error 🥂

Palate: on the sweet side. Nice peach. Solid. Mountain stream. Sort of lovely if not not brilliant.
