A bit too good for a pot of mussels — a month ago
Cold, rainy year but producing a great Chardonnay. Flinty, Meyer lemons, pear. Great effort in a difficult year. Tiny production.

Very powerful nose and very long finish with peppery aftertaste. This will evolve beautifully but drinks great now. Very balanced despite maximum extraction. — a day ago
Mencia grape from 80 year old vines on slate soil. Top wine, very aromatic, red fruit but stony undertone. Surprising, very high quality, Drinks beautifully now but has a good ten years in it. Great acidity and pure balance. — a month ago
Typical for most 2019 red burgundies, zero tannins. So the wine misses structure. Very enjoyable to drink now, fruit forward, drink all your 2019s before 15/16/17 and 18. — 3 months ago
Even at 23 years this is still baby and needs another 5 years to fully open with integrated tannins. Started to open after a good hour in the glass. First taste after a pour acidity and gripping tannins. — a day ago
Super Tuscan, ripe tannins, cherry and cola. Good but why? Stick to Sangiovese please, why do you need French grapes. Still have to drink the first Super Tuscan I care about even though they are technically sound and delicious. — a month ago
