Excellent wine again from Keller! Probably the lightest of his GGs but still a flavourbomb — 24 days ago

Been looking forward to trying this producer for a while now. This was insanely concentrated and unfortunately the alcohol was very present. Could have been bottled yesterday. Probably need decades and I cant ever see it reaching its 100 point rating.
Served with coffee glazed short ribs and pomme puree.

@Andrew McIntyre Yikes 😬 Are you a Merlot guy? Something we reference our Bordeaux palate to Cabernet Sauvignon. This approach leaves us feeling like there is something lacking when we drink French merlots. 🤷🏽‍♂️🤷🏽‍♂️ Maybe try it against other St. Emilion bottles? I almost want to recommend a head-to-head with Cheval Blanc. 💯😊🍷 of course if you do... I’d want to be there.✌🏼🤘🏼🎉

I do love a good Merlot which added somewhat to the disappointment. Cheval Blanc or Angelus are far better balanced and silky. This was a punch to the face! I like the idea of that head-to-head though!

Really starting to enjoy australian wine. Smokey, fruity and with a big punch of flavour this could be the perfect wine for a BBQ...which is exactly when we drank it. Looking forward to the runrig — 9 days ago

Have wanted to try this for a while and it didn't disappoint. Very smooth and elegant but perhaps a little muted. Would buy again and am excited to try others in their range. — 9 days ago
