This is nice. Don't know what I paid for it. Strong dark fruit presence with gripping tannins and a little minerality. I'm drinking it without food, and it would be much better with a bit of grilled something. But it's nice, I'll say it again.

This is a friendly little Nebbiolo. Structured nicely, with everything in its right place. Bright and juicy red berries, a touch of tar and tobacco, modest acidity and tannins. No need to age this one, it's ready to boogie.

2015 was an early harvest in Napa, but the fruit was very good, as this bottle demonstrates. At ten years of age, this wine is giving me a wonderful feeling in my mouth, with soft, leathery tannins. It's not jammy but rather has dark cherry, cedar, and eucalyptus on the palette. It could lay down a few more years, but it's superb today. I got lucky, this bottle was at my grocer's surrounded by 2020's. Grab a bottle if you see one.

This is very good for $25. Particularly good is the luscious mouthfeel. Appealing flavors of tart cherry, vanilla, dough, green apple Jolly Rancher. Moderate tannins and acidity, which could probably make this wine do well for another 5 years plus. 100% Temperanillo. It's finally Friday!
