Ra Ra Wine Co. Sonoma Pinot Noir 2022. I'm going on a limb and saying it's the strangest PN I've ever had. First, the bottle is shaped like a Pepsi bottle. There is no seal on the cork, and the wine seeped out on my drive home, which is only about 200 yards! Not a good sign.
The wine itself looks like pinot noir, it's a pale ruby. Smells light and fruity. Tastes like red bing cherries and cola. Really rough edges, but seems intact despite the seal issue 🤷♂️ I don't know.

A lot going on here, and it's good. Smells like cola and chocolate. Tastes like milk chocolate, plums, medjool dates, brown sugar? Dry, tannic, puckery finish, but with lower acidity. Delicious, and a meal into itself.

Saw @Ted drinking this so I thought I'd join him. I'm having the 2023, though. Not a bad wine from the Cakebread people. Very sour nose of overripe berries and musk melon. Super tannic, cedar, blackberries, bay leaves, minerals, and apple skins lingering on the long finish. Having one glass now, and will revisit tomorrow. It really tastes like a tight Bordeaux wine.
