Quite simply one of the best Nebbiolo’s I have ever had. The nose is explosive; super fragrant rose petal, dried strawberry, some cranberry, various crunchy red fruits. Tar, leather, forest floor, porcini mushroom, leather. Palate with concentrated dried strawberry, cranberry, soft tannins, dried fruit, integrated acidity, no alcoholic heat, lengthy finish. Complex. Most ratings I have seen are in the 89-93 range; for me this is much higher, and in the perfect place for consumption as it has a great balance of primary fruit and tertiary aged character.

I was worried about this bottle as the fill level was low and there was a lot of seepage. Didn’t matter at all. Fantastic nose of concentrated stone fruit: apricot, peach, some pineapple as well. Sweet smelling flowers ie honeysuckle and slight jasmine note. Nice, mild petrol aroma. On the palate very concentrated and in a great place in terms of the freshness and acidity combined with that aged Riesling profile of honeyed stone fruit, candied pineapple, dried citrus rind, all with a acidity framing the wonderful fruit. In a great place right now.

Nose is subdued at first, but then opens to a range of lemon, lime, white flowers, rock dust. Palate a wonderful vibrant lemon and lime; lots of slate minerality; the acid is quite unique. Very present, and almost has a tannin like quality. I think once the acid integrates over the years it will be something even more special. A great value. — 11 days ago
Typical southern Rhone profile of mixed red and black berry (raspberry, strawberry blueberry, blackberry) with garrigue accents; nice acidity for a southern Rhone, and some restraint at 13.5 abv which makes it much more balanced than other comparable wines. — 2 months ago
A portrait in elegance. Initially the nose is shy, but unfurls into a full range of lemon, from underripe to meyer lemon; yellow flowers, lilies etc, a slight amount of flint minerality, lemon custard, hint of fresh almond. On the palate reminiscent of a delicious lemon custard accented with a touch of vanilla, fresh acidity, great texture, good length. What a great wine. My first from Brisset and I must say I am impressed. @Lyle Fass — 17 days ago
Lemon yellow hue, moderately viscous. Aromas of white flowers, orchard fruit, hazelnut, marzipan. Orchard fruit, mixed nuts, marzipan, and a mineral edge on the palate. Oak seems mostly neutral. Nice texture. Nicely integrated acidity. Alcohol is not overpowering. A balanced wine, excellent. — a month ago

Expressive nose of lemon, slightly baked apple, some mild spice, sweet florals; on the palate a creamy texture and more baked apple and lemon tart, sweet spice but not the type of baking spices you get from new oak; has a slight chalky mineral note; acidity is fantastic. Extremely long finish. A great wine.
