Another vintage of an old favorite. Deep red color. Aromas of dark berry fruit, leather, dried herbs and forest floor. Flavors of sour cherries, ripe strawberries, black raspberries, balsamic vinegar, sweet and earthy spices along with those dried herbs. Long, peppery, earthy and slightly sour finish. Concentrated black cherry/berry fruit flavors with additional notes of mushrooms, figs, tobacco and sweet and savory spices. Bit of minerality on the long and lingering finish. Interesting well aged Aussie Shiraz. Medium ruby color with a broad brick/pink meniscus. Aromas of dried black fruit, Christmas cake spice and forest floor. Dried black cherry/berry/currant fruit with additional notes of cloves, dark chocolate, black pepper, black licorice and tobacco. Long earthy finish.
