Dark/murky ruby color. Aromas of violets/lilacs, smoke, green pepper and cherry fruit. Flavors of red currants, raspberries and cherries, tobacco, peppercorns and vanilla. Medium length and very earthy finish with a noticeable green note. Medium body and tannins. A bit light on acidity and texture. Respectable. — 6 days ago
Certainly got my attention based on the “unique” factor. 100% Malbec that is vinified as a white wine. Practically looks like (clear) water. Aromas of lychee, cherry blossoms and watermelon. Flavors of red cherry, red apple skin, citrus fruit and a bit of vanilla. Distinct tart mineral note on the short finish. Crisp, bright and totally refreshing. Low alcohol (10.5%) very light bodied (almost watery texture). Medium-minus acidity. Best served on a hot day. Certainly a departure from prototypical Malbec. Very inexpensive. Quite the interesting surprise. — 9 days ago
Light straw gold color with greenish highlights. Aromas of citrus fruits, orchard fruits and white flowers. Flavors of lemon, green apple, peaches, fresh herbs and grapefruit. Pleasant mineral note on the medium finish. Crisp acidity and quite clean. Savory and fresh tasting. Thanks for sharing, Chris B! — 10 days ago
Blend of Roussanne (70%) and Picpoul (30%). Pale yellow color with green highlights. Aromas of stone fruit, white flowers and green apple. Flavors of unripe peach, apricot, green apples and pears, fresh herbs and honey. Strong mineral and spicy notes on the long and crisp and slightly bitter finish. Just a light hint of oak. Medium bodied, ripe and fresh tasting. Mouth coating texture. Nicely balanced. — 2 days ago
Bright garnet color with a ruby core. Aromas of red fruits, rose petals and wet soil. Bright flavors of red cherries and raspberries, tobacco and black pepper spice. Finish features some baking spices but is a bit short. Not much of an oak influence. Acidity is pretty fresh. Medium body and tannins. Very basic but also very drinkable. Good bulk/pizza wine. Tasted from Magnum. Thanks for sharing, Chris B! — 7 days ago
Blend of Petite Sirah (60%), Malbec (20%), Cabernet Sauvignon (6%), Merlot (6%), Zinfandel (5%) and Syrah (5%) fruit from both Lake (79%) and Napa (21%) counties. Inky purple/black/ruby color. Aromas of ripe black fruits, tobacco and wet soil. Flavors of cooked plums, dark chocolate, coffee and savory herbs and spices. Well integrated oak on the long finish. Full bodied, medium acidity and quite bold. Smooth tannins. Appreciate you opening this bottle, Chris B! — 10 days ago
Blend of Garnacha (55%), Syrah (39%) and Mazuelo (6%). Dark ruby color with garnet highlights. Aromas of wet soil, coffee, violets and ripe red fruit. Flavors of strawberry, raspberry and red cherry fruit, dark chocolate, minerals and baking spices. Bit of vanilla on the long and pleasant finish. Soft/tight tannins and vibrant (a bit overbearing) acidity that causes the mouth to salivate. Medium-plus body and structure. Needs aeration. — 4 days ago
My first Saint-Bris! Pale lemon yellow color. Plush aromas of citrus fruit, white flowers, chalk and abundant fresh herbs. Flavors of unripe peach, all those savory herbs, green apple and lemon zest. Noticeable mineral backbone on the long and drawn out finish. Lively and crisp acidity. Medium-minus body and wonderful freshness. Vibrant and harmonious! There are Chablis comparisons here. Another example of outstanding white burgundy! — 8 days ago

A note of imitation vanilla extract on the medium finish. Full bodied with well integrated tannins. A bit short on acidity. Slightly syrupy texture. Thanks for sharing, Chris B! — 10 days ago

Dark purple color. Aromas and flavors of ripe red and black cherries, cola, blueberries and sweet Asian spices. Just a bit of graphite on the medium-plus and slightly sour finish. Full bodied, bold and very fresh tasting. Quite fruit forward with persistent bubbles. Best with food. — 11 hours ago
