Dark and murky ruby color. Aromas of smoke, black fruit, purple flowers and leather. Flavors of black raspberry/cherry/blackberry fruit, sweet spices, black licorice and vanilla. Long and intense earthy finish. Good acidity and richness. Medium tannins. Quite fruit forward and lush, but also very rustic. Nicely aged. — 6 days ago
A big and opulent Grenache based wine. Medium ruby color with a thin pink meniscus. Aromas of ripe red fruit, dusty earth, smoky oak and exotic spices. Flavors of raspberry, red plum and ripe strawberries, red and black licorice, orange zest and a bit of vanilla. Hint of minerality on the long and bright finish. Smooth tannins and vibrant acidity. Full bodied and lively. Well structured and bold. Excellent Côtes du Rhône-Villages. — 13 days ago
Third vintage of this Chianti I have tasted over the years. Blend of Sangiovese (90%) and Canaiolo (10%). Aromas of red and black fruit, sweet and savory spices and leather. Flavors of raspberry and blueberry fruit, exotic spices, tomato leaf and vanilla. Medium length earthy/mineral driven finish. Low acidity and slightly off balance. Not overly exciting but not terrible either. A reasonable table wine. — 17 days ago
Murky ruby color with a garnet meniscus. Aromas of ripe black fruit, menthol, dark cocoa powder, violets and a pleasant funk. Flavors of black currants and plums, burnt caramel, dried thyme/sage and anise seed. Long and luxurious finish. Velvety tannins and smooth texture. Perfectly aged in what seems like French Oak. So well crafted. If I were tasting this blind….. I would have thought I was drinking a Bordeaux. Thanks Kase and Pete for sharing this incredible bottle. — 3 days ago
100% Chenin Blanc. Medium shiny golden color. Aromas of ripe stone and melon fruit, white flowers and beeswax. Flavors of candied peaches and apricots, cantaloupe and honey. Exceptionally sweet but there is enough acidity to keep the balance in check. Medium-minus body and (though quite clean) finish. More of a dessert-style wine for me, but it will pair well with spicy food. — 8 days ago
Dark ruby red color. Aromas of violets, red fruit, wet earth and orange zest. Flavors of red cherry/currant/raspberry fruit, tobacco, lavender and sweet/holiday baking spices. Long lasting and very earthy medium-plus finish. Well balanced, fresh and quite elegant. Beautifully rustic. Great aging potential. A true “Baby Brunello!” Thanking Petey and Kasey for sharing this outstanding bottle! — 16 days ago
Interesting Rose’ blend of Malbec (60%) and Pinot Noir (40%). Light salmon color. Aromas of tangerine, strawberry, rose petals and wet stones. Flavors of strawberry, clementine juice and minerals. Long and lingering chalky finish. Gripping acidity. Well structured and nice tension. Bright and clean! Appreciate you sharing this one with me, Kase! — 3 days ago
Bordeaux Style blend of Cabernet Sauvignon (52%), Petite Verdot (22%), Malbec (14%) and Cabernet Franc (12%). Dark ruby/purple color. Aromas of ripe black fruit, charred wood, violets and wet soil. Flavors of blueberry, black currant, huckleberry, and boysenberry fruit, black figs and a slight touch of baking spices. Long and well balanced (yet slightly earthy) persistent finish. Noticeable tannins that should soften with additional bottle age. Full bodied and nicely structured. Appreciate the taste, Kase! — 4 days ago
Medium garnet color with a slight pink meniscus. Aromas of anise, tar, dried rose petals and black cherry jam. Flavors of dark cherry, blackberry and bramble berry fruit, black licorice, tobacco and mushrooms. Hints of minerals and baking spices on the long finish. Mouth watering acidity. Full bodied and firm but the tannins are beautifully integrated. Wonderful structure and complexity. Sincerely appreciate Petey and Kasey for sharing this wonderful bottle. — 16 days ago

Light garnet color with a slight ruby core. Aromas of wet soil, red berries and dried rose petals. Flavors of raspberries, red currants, mushrooms and savory spices. Long lasting finish. Gripping acidity with very silky tannins. Light bodied and quite savory but still full of finesse. Needs a bit of aeration to fully open up. Solid value. Thanks for the bottle, Kase. — 14 hours ago
