Another solid vintage. Primarily Cabernet Sauvignon with some Sangiovese blended in. Dark ruby/purple color. Aromas of ripe black fruit, wet soil, smoke and wild herbs. Flavors of black berry/current fruit, tobacco, baker’s chocolate, balsamic vinegar and some black pepper spice. Hint of menthol on the long finish. Dusty tannins and full bodied. Blend of Tempranillo (80%) with some Graciano (13%) and Garnacha (7%) blended in. Dark ruby/black color. Aromas of ripe and dried black fruit, baking spices and eucalyptus. Flavors of overripe black plums and currants with a noticeable prune flavor. Additional notes of dark chocolate, black licorice and nutmeg. Hint of pepper spice on the medium length finish. 100% Kisi (white grape native to the country of Georgia) grapes. Light straw color with a few green highlights. Aromas of stone fruit, white flowers and citrus zest. Flavors of peaches, lemon/lime, apricots and green apples. Prominent mineral note on the clean medium finish. Medium-minus acidity and light bodied. Smooth texture and complex. No sign of oak or qvevri (skin contact) aging. 12.5% ABV. Crisp, fresh and elegant. Wish this one had a bit more acidity. — 5 days ago

Primarily Chenin Blanc with small amounts of Semillon and Grenache Blanc blended in. Light golden color. Expensive aromas of stone fruit, white flowers, flint and honey. Flavors of cooked peaches, ripe apples, tangerine and a subtle mineral backbone. A touch of honey on the long and lingering finish. Slightly creamy/silky texture. (Lees aging?) Vibrant and zesty acidity. Rich and round with a great mouthfeel. Consistently solid vintage after vintage. Appreciate you adding this one to the tasting lineup, Chris B. Much better vintage of this interesting Primativo Rose’ produced with small estate vineyard Lodi, CA fruit. Bright salmon/pink color with some copper highlights. Aromas of red berry fruit and pink flowers. Flavors of strawberry, peach, cantaloupe and passion fruit. Slight citrus note on the medium-plus finish. Beautiful mouth filling structure.
