Single Vineyard (high elevation) Washington Riesling from the Columbia Gorge. Intense aromas of petrol, green orchard fruit and white flowers. Flavors of green apple/pear/melon fruit, lemon candy, candied ginger and minerals. A bit of RS on the long finish which is fairly well balanced by brisk acidity. A bit fruit forward. Best served chilled. Reasonable. — 9 days ago
Dark ruby/purple color. Aromas of ripe blue and black fruit, forest floor, leather and tobacco. Flavors of cooked black cherry/plum/currant fruit, blueberries, coffee and a bit of milk chocolate. Noticeable vanilla flavor on the slightly oaky finish. Extremely fruit forward and lush. Full bodied with very smooth mouth drying tannins and reasonable acidity levels. Smooth texture, bold and very dense. Appreciate you sharing, James W! — 11 days ago
Dark ruby color with a few purple highlights. Aromas of ripe black fruit, purple flowers and smoky/flinty oak. Flavors of black cherry/raspberry/plum fruit, coffee, vanilla and baking spices. Nice black pepper note on the long and lingering finish. Full bodied and lush. Medium acidity and pretty complex. Just a bit past its prime. Thanks for sharing, Ron B! — 12 days ago
Light golden color. Reserved aromas of orchard, tropical and citrus fruit, sea spray and a hint of fresh cut grass. Flavors of green apple, white peach, lemon/lime and nectarine fruit. Noticeable mineral note on the long and bright finish. Slightly creamy texture (lees aging?) and crisp acidity. Opens up nicely with a little aeration. Straightforward and solid, but not overly complex. Best with food. — 5 days ago
Blend of Touriga National (50%) and Alfrocheiro (50%). Light pink color with some orange highlights. Aromas of red berries, citrus and rose petals. Flavors of strawberry, red cherry, currant and raspberry fruit, lemon/lime, grapefruit and minerals. Medium finish and crisp acidity. Medium bodied and a bit of textural heft (more than expected). Can stand up to some heartier/more intense food. Thanks for the taste, Chris B! — 7 days ago
Another solid vintage of this Umbrian blend of Trebbiano (locally called Procanico), Grechetto and Canaiolo Bianco. Light white gold color. Aromas of orchard fruit, white flowers and some fresh herbs. Flavors of green apples and pears, white peach and raw almonds. Medium length and brisk acidity with a subtle mineral note. Fruit forward, crisp and refreshing. Just a hint of RS. Thank you for sharing after the baptism, Chris B! — 11 days ago
Super Tuscan blend of Merlot (75%) and Sangiovese (25%). Dark ruby/purple color with a slight garnet rim. Aromas of dark cherry/berry fruit, forest floor, leather, graphite and wild herbs. Flavors of black cherry/berry and blueberry fruit, cola, tobacco and dark chocolate. Bit of vanilla on the long and drawn out finish. Firm, but well structured tannins and just enough acidity. Powerful structure, full bodied and fairly well balanced. Quite dense and rich. Better with a decant. — 6 days ago
Another solid vintage of this guilty pleasure wine. Pronounced aromas of white flowers, ripe orchard and tropical fruit as well as some citrus. Flavors of nectarines, peaches, apricots, pineapple and fresh herbs. Medium finish and crisp acidity. Light bodied, creamy mousse and light frizzante bubbles. A bit more RS in this vintage, which is well balanced by all that acidity. Well crafted and low (6%) ABV. What can I say? My wife will drink this with me. Nice dessert option on a hot Summer Day. Thanks for sharing, Young Chris. — 11 days ago
100% Organic. Dark ruby/purple color. Aromas of red and black berry fruit, forest floor, graphite and dried flowers.. Flavors of dried blackberry, cherry plums, cranberry and fresh herbs. Medium-plus finish and slightly chewy tannins. No sign of oak aging. Vibrant acidity and nice purity. No over the top fruit bomb here. Clean bright and slightly reductive. Interesting laid back take on the varietal. Thanks for the gift, Kase. — 11 days ago
