Noticeable “Rutherford Dust” on the long, earthy and savory finish. Soft tannins. Alcohol and acidity are quite abundant and noticeable. Lower (more Medium) bodied then I expected. Quite “grapey.” Very short, but peppery finish, light bodied with little complexity. Drinkable basic red wine. The “Zero Sugar” marketing ploy is interesting. Bold blackberry/black currant/black cherry fruit flavors with additional flavors of tobacco, iron, vanilla and sweet baking spices.
