Blend of primarily Sangiovese with some Petite Syrah and Malbec blended in. Dark ruby color with purple highlights. Aromas of black fruit and coffee. The palate is full of dark plum, black raspberry, blueberry, black licorice and baking spices. Heavy oaky note on the medium finish. Pretty vibrant and intense, but lacking in the balance department. Also tastes a bit manipulated. — 5 days ago
Interesting Rioja blend of Graciano (90%) and Tempranillo (10%). Dark ruby core with a slight garnet rim. Aromas of red cherries, rose petals, leather, mint and dusty earth. Ripe red and black cherry/currant/raspberry fruit on the palate with additional notes of dried herbs (dill), dark chocolate, black olives, coffee and minerals. Touch of vanilla on the bold and lingering finish. Fresh acidity, firm tannins and nicely balanced. Smooth texture, complex and beautifully aged. — 15 days ago
Cote du Rhône blend of Grenache (60%) and Syrah (40%). Deep garnet color with a ruby core. Aromas of red and black berry fruit, garrigue and baking spices. Same fruit flavors (very ripe) with notes of black licorice, black pepper and vanilla. Medium-plus finish and well balanced acidity. Smooth texture and tannins. This wine expresses the two varietals in the blend beautifully. Exceptional quality for the price. — 2 days ago
Medium garnet/ruby color. Aromas of red berries, cedar, and roasted nuts. Fruit forward flavors of cooked strawberries/raspberries/blackberries, baking spices, and a touch of garrigue. Noticeable oak and mineral note on the lengthy finish. Well balanced with appreciable intensity. Nicely aged. Thanks for the taste, Chris B! — 12 days ago
Medium ruby color. Aromas of violets, forest floor, red berries and a pleasant note of funk. Ripe red and black berry fruit on the palate with hints of mushrooms, fresh herbs and baking spices. Creamy texture. Medium-plus finish and body with nicely rounded tannins. Thanks for sharing, Chris B! — 12 days ago
Medium pale ruby color. Aromas and flavors of ripe red and black cherries, raspberry, rose petals, baking spices, soil and minerals. Touches of saline and vanilla on the medium (but quite sharp) finish. Medium body, alcohol and tannins. Lots of acidity, thus a bit out of balance. Extremely savory and funky. Drinks more like a Barbera than a Pinot Noir. Wine is OK, but I expect better from this producer. — 2 days ago
Light golden color. Aromas of ripe pears, honey and lemon zest. Flavors of lemon/lime, grapefruit, cantaloupe and fresh herbs. Nice mineral note on the medium-plus finish. Crisp acidity and creamy texture. Fruit forward and fairly well balanced. Good but not great. — 5 days ago
California (Santa Maria Valley) fruit vinified in Pennsylvania. Murky garnet color. Aromas of red berry fruit, forest floor and freshly turned soil. Flavors of red cherry/raspberry/strawberry fruit with touches of minerals and wet earth. Light bodied with a nice touch of oak on the long and silky finish. Very Burgundian in style. — 12 days ago
Blend of Inzolia, Graciano, Grecanico and Chardonnay. Dark straw color. Love the “Rhenish-style bottle. Aromas of applesauce, white flowers and chalk. Zesty lemon/lime and intense mineral notes on the palate with hints of unripe peach, apricot, cantaloupe and honey. Medium-body and finish with crisp/bracing acidity. Viscous texture. Fresh and vibrant! — 17 days ago

Dark ruby/purple color with a slight garnet rim. Aromas of ripe black berry fruit, ash, smoke and leather. Sour red and black cherry fruit on the palate with additional notes of figs, black olives, woody herbs and black pepper spice. Nice hint of charred oak on the medium-plus finish. Well balanced and powerful. Better as it opened up so give this wine a decant. Solid QPR. — a day ago
