🔥 - really impressive, powerfully built, def oak influenced but had the guts & stuffing to end up in harmonious balance: gobs of black & red fruit, but some lead pencil, tobacco leaf, cassis, tomato plant, spice - voluptuous aromatics carried through to palate. Solid effort here: deep dark garnet, opaque, wafting cherry & strawberries, florals, herbs, spices and plenty of earthiness - on the palate the fruit is a bit tart, like sour cherry and early season berries, some minerality but loads of sweet soil, leather, mild spice and relatively juicy acidity. this is textbook and well made, solid QPR. prefer this over over-priced chianti classicos — 9 days ago

Darker gold & greenish hued, bit of an oxidized, mellow accent to the tropical fruit on the nose, minerals & stones - palate reflects nose, strong acidic backbone but rounded edges, balanced and a somewhat silky mouthfeel. love Friuli whites with some age — 14 days ago
