Haven’t thought about this wine in a while. It went through some phases, some I liked, some that I thought was distracting. We released this in 2022. We pressed half of it whole cluster and then combined the other half of it for three weeks maceration on the direct press before pressing it out again. Today it’s focused. Our intentions with this Petit Verdot was to make people love PV as much as we do. This 2022 really needed time and maybe looking back we should have waited to release it four years later. But today it’s really good. Proud of the work we have been doing. Hope to continue to make better wines and ciders each year. — a month ago
