Wine is incredibly dark and brooding. Very dense and heavy taste and texture right out of the bottle.

Drank over about 3 hours. Oxygen was this wines friend and the wine opened up quite a bit to reveal more bright and red fruit to complement the black fruit and density which also gave way as it breathed.

Not a blockbuster from a complexity perspective and lacked the punch of something special. But a solid oakville cab nonetheless and not too oaky. — 5 days ago

Such a pleasant surprise! Great bargain here and very cool - Alsacian Pinot! My first. Earthy notes waft out of the glass along with some cherries. Great structure, medium tannins, beautiful mouthfeel. Love the earthy flavors of mushroom, baking spices, and mineral mixed with cherry and plum. Great finish. — a year ago
