whoa! wild, totally unexpected nose. never smelled a chard like this. Menthol, eucalyptus, mint. Andes mint. high elevation, select rows from a single vineyard. Unlike any other chardonnay. Flipping beautiful. High acid, lemony citrus and mineral on palate. the mint is fascinating- almost overwhelming. decanting would prolly help. 10 just because it’s so interesting, so delicious. but it is not identifiable as Chardonnay. — 16 days ago

unctuous but still lively, not fat- lively. meaty, blackberry, more minerals than expected. long tannins. wouldn’t be a wine that I would pick but I really enjoy it. — 3 months ago
