Light Golden color, apricot, jasmine, and peach compote. Complex with a long finish and string of acid throughout. Just Divine. Hard to imagine Alsace gets much better than this ! — a month ago
Out of magnum - lean tart fruit on the nose but a developed palate filled with yellow pear, apple and lemon meringue. Outstanding — a month ago
Delicate balance of glue under ripe apricot white peach and mango with an off dry finish. Outstandingly clean. — 6 months ago
Robust - Bready and nutty to an extreme. Best on its own served ice cold - or with something buttered and rich. Dark golden color with a rich velvety texture. — 10 days ago
Limp in complexity, bitter tannins, and vanishing fruit. Rarely do I encounter a wine that is just not up my alley. This fits that quota. Seeing concrete only, this wine should be bursting with bright fruit (in theory). Not flawed, nor faulty. Just simply a poor wine. Will aerate and revisit. — a month ago
Huge extraction and sappy for a young St Joseph. Lacked some of the high toned aromatics seen in better examples. — 2 months ago
Calm and reserved for a 9yo Cote Rotie. Integrated well. Lacks some of the classic aromas of prototypical examples. Subtle meat and sweet pickle/caper. — 10 days ago
Outstanding example from this lesser known / understood burgundy appelation. Golden apple, ripe pear, daffodils, and a finish of peach puree. Oily texture and full bodied. Wow. — a month ago
Compared to my prior 2008 bottle tasting note - holding up beautifully for this 1995 GC burg. sour and stewed sour cherry and subtle raspberry. Stem notes and singed bramble in background. Effortless to drink. — 2 months ago

Well integrated - velvety and fine tannins - fruit still with crispness - dried flowers in the nose. Subtle earth. Outstanding. — 8 days ago
