A perfect Pinot. So many pinots, even good ones, are one-trick ponies. This one isn't. It has all the depth and mystery that caused me to fall in love with the grape. Best wine experience in a long time.

Lovely structure, lots of acidity veining through layers of cherry and earth and a certain herbaceousness that I can't put my finger on. As per usual, Nathan and Duncan crush it.

2011 Peter Martin Ray Pinot Noir. Super bright acidity, defined mineral flavors, gorgeous high-toned fruit. Complex and delicious. Excellent.
