Wine is ageing and I have the feeling its getting a bit chubbier? The razorsharpness is fading, minerality is here to stay. stil avery nice wine! — 4 days ago
Long time since a “serious” Muscadet. Very light lemon yellow, clean, Uber-crisp, stone, sea-spray, very dry and acid-forward. Very little fruit flavor, long almost spicy finish, more weight than anticipated. This wine is absurdly young and judging by the acid and structure capable of 5-7 years of quiet cellar time. QPR? Are you frigging kidding me? This world class white is around $25 per. Not a wine to reach for on a boozy weekend night... but s serious food-friendly option. — 13 days ago
Green apple and lime, mouthwatering, scandalous value — 2 days ago

Shockingly youthful and vibrant for 20 year old wine. Acid is positively feisty. Time has not dimished the potency of this in the slightest, instead knitting the intense lemon and grapefruit together with toasted nuts and a smidge of leesy richness and marine elements recalling seashell and kelp. And yes a little SO2. Btw this stuff costs less than $20 a bottle—buy it, forget about it for a while — 8 days ago
