zero/zero franciacorta. 100% pinot noir. slow, manual press, aged on the lees in neutral oak for 3.5 years. elegant and lively. — a year ago

@Delectable Wine this is the Baiser d'Ange cuvée.
100% semillon from st émilion macerated in amphora w 4g residual sugar. zero/zero. how does this exist? what? why? insane. tannic, spiced, tropical, entirely singular. there is nothing like this. — a year ago

trousseau, plousard and pinot. super light maceration—dark rosé territory. silky, fresh and soulful. white pepper and deeply fruited palate would lead me to pineau d'aunis in a blind. very nice way to end the night. — a year ago

lethal VA but generous dose of tropical fruit, leather and white florals after ~45 min open. love these wines eternally. — a year ago
@Delectable Wine this is the Trompe l'Oeil cuvée.
gamay and aligote direct pressed into qveris that are subsequently buried in the vineyards where the grapes are grown for upwards of 18 months. pure insanity. one to write home about. valot is quickly becoming one of my favorite producers on the planet. — a year ago
100% sumoll. perfumed and lifted. really lovely. — a year ago
2021 v 2016 swiss merlot. both were singing. dense and ethereal in equal measure. symphonic. — a year ago

@Delectable Wine this is the "Funky Calypso" cuvée.
Syrah and Cabarnet macerated in direct press Vermentino—all grapes grown in Provence then vinified in Jura. Aged in neutral oak. 0/0. A masterclass in balance. The entire cépage is represented on the palate without any one grape stepping on the other. Joyous with baked ziti and a salad that was actually mostly charcuterie. Seek this producer out. — a year ago
