trousseau, plousard and pinot. super light maceration—dark rosé territory. silky, fresh and soulful. white pepper and deeply fruited palate would lead me to pineau d'aunis in a blind. very nice way to end the night. — a year ago

@Delectable Wine this is the "Funky Calypso" cuvée.
Syrah and Cabarnet macerated in direct press Vermentino—all grapes grown in Provence then vinified in Jura. Aged in neutral oak. 0/0. A masterclass in balance. The entire cépage is represented on the palate without any one grape stepping on the other. Joyous with baked ziti and a salad that was actually mostly charcuterie.
