Black olive, rye crust, bran, olive wood, wood ear, black currant, cassis, and gravel nose. Black and tart cherries, rose stem, mulberry, cassis, mocha cigar, baking chocolate, plum skins. Elegant, if a little closed.

Fruktigt, hallon och italienskt. Känns som ett vin som passar till typ allt. Riktigt fint gott och prisvärt. Ett go to italienskt. — 6 years ago
With a clean smell of sweet grass, and ocean mist.
Clean, a good Sake will always have this as a descriptor. Weighty mouthfeel, hints of tropical fleshy fruits- subtlety hints of mango, banana, guanoabana. A touch of fresh cacao pod flesh. And of course the obvious flavors of rice polished to a bran free perfection. A nice, uncloying sweetness allows for ‘this wine to show through the alcohol. — 7 years ago
Delicious, fruity, equally tart and effervescent — 8 years ago
I️ bought this wine upon release when this was a “big” buy for me. Part of the fun of collecting wine is seeing how they develop over time. This bottle is great. 50% Sangiovese 45% merlot and 5% Cabernet. The merlot and Sangiovese really compliment with good dark fruit a hint of oak and pure joy. Too bad it’s a Sunday night. Too bad I️ only have one bottle left. Have to say I️ built my Italian wine collection reading Galloni back in the day and trusting in his taste - it has worked out well so far. — 9 years ago
Real wine. Violets, koi pond, plum bread, dried raspberries in a Sumatran coffee and gunpowder tea bran muffin. Shoe leather in clear polish. Wound up a little tightly as it was just opened, the palate receives a heaping spoonful of coal and banana leaf, with iron pellets. You can see the shadow of the panther in this one! Pure muscle. Cracked pepper, smooth, flat black stones; dried violets, tar, squid ink and flame-touched hemp. Not your typical Zin fare, this one elevates the cultivation to an art form. 80 year old vines strumming archaic, wooden energies into the glass. Remember this is Zin, which is the neon calling card of the wine arcade, then find yourself called to a state of bliss. #zinfomaniacs #zintastic #zincredible #zin #bedrock #bedrockwineco #oldvinesyounglove #oldvine #oldvines #oldvinezin #zinfandel #zinfadel #caliclassic — 9 years ago

Super. Very smoky and very complex. A couple of drops of distilled water and it opened up amazing. Chocolate, oatmeal, bran, vanilla, caramel. — 3 years ago

lots of old creaky leather and blueberries and raspberries and bran flakes. tannins are thin and even and burnished smooth. a long trail-off with some bouquet garni and sun-baked soil. opened up nice and quick for a decade old wine — 9 years ago
Privatbrauerei Eichbaum ‘Der Kletterer’ rot lager (red lager)
Galactic white milkshake pate tinged with faintest pink. Wall-solid lacing with wreathing. Shortcake nose with strawberry suggestions, wheat bran muffin batter; pecans. Strawberry pith persistences, wheat germ, pretzel bun, fig, on the palate boasting one tiny drop of balsamic between caramels.

Rim to rim invariance of black cherry peel with smoky topaz highlights. Nearly Dense and dark as black coffee. Violets shine on a nose of plum , black currant jelly, blueberry-dark chocolate, roses with a tiny whiff of bovine, tilled soil, dried blackberries, and blueberry bran muffin. Graphite and licorice extract keep the fruity nose in check, and the burgeoning power of the palate rushes from the glass. Leather and oak frame the crushed, dried violet, in a grilled herbs de Provence, bing cherry, black cherry, and currant culmination!
What a finish. Lengthy resonance is finally whittled to a raspberry point.

Loud pouring and viscous. Lightest brown cover thick above actively churning reddish darkness. Bran muffin, chocolate malted milk balls, a candied beef jerky note, buckwheat, banana split with chocolate syrup, root beer, bakers chocolate, bourbon candies with cherry aromatics. Kabbalist script lacing. Vanilla black bread, honey-truffle butter, burnt cane, burnt brown sugar and cinnamon, darkest chocolate covering toffee, espresso bean, licorice, allspice, cardamom and anise seed, valerian root, chicory, whole bean vanilla. — 7 years ago
Black Forest berries and Licorice — 8 years ago
Just a 👶.
Not my favorite Drew. What did you think of it?
I get a bright amarone type of note on the palate. Unfortunately, I dislike Amarone’s!! I only enjoy raisins on my Raisin Bran in the morning. Lol @Drew Feinberg — 9 years ago

@Delectable Wine this is Cornus 2017, mencia, cab franc, abouriou, bran cellar grapes. The nose is bonkers. Forest, funkiness, smashed strawberries with the plant and earth. Mouthfeel is lovely. Light red fruits, strawberry, plum, cherry, cranberry, then earth, tannin, almost curry, then long lingering earth and bark and dried cranberry with rosemary at the finish. Needs two hours to open. Honestly not great at opening. What a wine! — 2 months ago
