Elegantly balanced and so soft on the palate, with candied black fruit, leather, earth, mushroom, and nutmeg notes. #firstgrowthbordeaux #bordeauxwine #frenchie #foodandwinepairing #wineanddine #cabernertsauvignon #blend #leftbankbordeaux — 4 months ago

Château Sipian

Médoc Red Bordeaux Blend 2015

Stuffed. All the masculine, lead pencil, cigar box, ripe capsicum, wrapper leaf-type Broadbent words come to mind. Sipian always excels in the top years. #sipian #bordeaux #leftbankbordeaux #médoc — 2 years ago

Château Gloria

Saint-Julien Red Bordeaux Blend 2008

2008 Chateau Gloria from Medoc on the Left Bank. Blend of 65% Cabernet Sauvignon, 25% Merlot, 5% Cabernet Franc, 5% Petit Verdot. Very nice deep purple/garnet in the glass. Black fruit and cassis, joined by layers of cedar, liquorice and tobacco on the palate. This is a rich, ripe full bodied wine with well integrated tannins that deliver a nice finish. Could easily last another 10 years. Nice bottle of Bordeaux for about $50. Sadly, I only had a single bottle.
