On the palate this shows a bit more age , with dried dark cherry, black tea , and herbal , dried spices . Tannin is a little firm and perhaps a little rustic , balanced acidity . A notch below the 2011 on this showing . This is probably at peak now , to drink over the next 5-8 years — 4 hours ago

Pretty light ruby garnet, wide light garnet rim . This is quite lightly fruited , strawberry , raspberry , floral hints, spiced red cherry . On the palate this shows sweet strawberry and raspberry , spice hints . Sweet , ripe quite light tannins and just balanced acidity . Quite light and simple on the finish . This is showing well now and doesn’t appear to have , a lot of structure . Fruit forward and rather simple overall . Drink from now and over the next 5-8 years . — 4 hours ago

Medium light garnet ruby , with quite wide light garnet rim . Quite high toned , floral nose at first then with some spice and earthy , sous bois , red currant , light red cherry . On the palate this is again quite pretty and light with red berry , sous bois , red currant , spiced strawberry and earthy hints . Balanced acidity and quite fine grippy tannin , with just a slight touch of bitterness . Quite decent length and mineral , earthy finish . This does seem to fall away after a while in the glass , so would drink this sooner than later . Drink now and over the next 5 years — 5 hours ago

Medium ruby garnet , quite wide light garnet rim. Quite round sweet red cherry , spiced strawberry , blackberry , quite fruit driven still . With some tobacco and earthy hints . On the palate this is more red fruited , quite spiced cherry and strawberry with iodine hints and seaside notes . Good fresh acidity and quite rounded ripe tannins . Not particularly dense or intense on the palate , but well balanced and elegant with a reasonable , iron filling tinged finish . This is more tertiary on the palate too with dried mushroom , black tea , sweet dried red cherry and rose . This has quite fresh acidity and medium gritty tannins . Less body and structure than the 2012 but well balanced. This is showing well and will continue well for the next 5-8 years — 4 hours ago

Slightly deeper ruby , slightly narrower pink , ruby rim . Deeper more concentrated riper , slightly more roasted , medicinal, mineral nose at first . Needs a bit of time to come together . Then darker , ripe cassis and red currant . Richer and riper on the palate , but still good balance , darker fruits , sweeter , touch of cassis , red currant and earthy mineral finish . This is quite a bit denser with reasonably good length , earthy mineral , dark cherry tinged finish. The riper deeper character comes across quite evidently , a bit marked by the vintage perhaps , very different from the other two. This does seem to come together in the glass with time ,it will get there eventually but needs more time . Better in 5 years and will drink well a further 10 or so . — 4 hours ago

Medium garnet , quite pronounced terracotta , garnet rim . This is more closed on the nose , slightly darker , less fruited , more tobacco , earthy , iodine , mineral, dry spices . On the palate more intensity with fresher acidity and grippy tannin . Darker fruits , with cherry , blackcurrant , but with a strong seaside , oyster shell componente . Good length and very elegant , slightly tannic finish . This is quite serious and restrained, more complete and complex than the 2011. Needs a bit of time to open, probably better in a 3-5 years and will show well for a further 5-10. From magnum . — a day ago

Medium garnet ruby core and quite wide garnet rim . This shows some development with rose , porcini , dark cherry , balsamic hint, spiced strawberry, iodine . On the palate this is quite deep and tannic , with a strong mineral note, dark cherry , violets, good balanced acidity and good iron filling finish . This needs a little more time to integrate further the quite present tannins . So better in 5 or so years and will last well a further 10 or so. Promising . — 4 hours ago

Brighter medium light ruby , wide light ruby garnet rim . Again brighter red cherry , red currant , strawberry , rose and floral hints . On the palate this has some sweet red currant , cherry and floral hints , slightly lean in profile , just a touch of earthiness and slightly grippy tannins , again just a hint of earthy bitterness . Little less body than the 2012 , but fresher fruit with good balance and decent length . Elegant and refined . This is drinking well but can improve over the next few years and last well a further 5-10. — 5 hours ago

Medium deep ruby , quite thin garnet rim . Quite a lot of cassis, herbal grafite notes , touch of blackberry , scorched earth , a bit for floral after a while in the glass. On the palate this shows more sweet dark fruit, touch of spicy oak, blackcurrant , dark cherry and cacau . Balanced acidity and sweet slightly grippy tannins , just balanced alcohol . Spicy sweet blackcurrant, grafite tinged finish , decent length. This is still young and quite fruit driven but is enjoyable now with food . Better in 5 years or so and will last well a further 8-10. — a day ago
