So much flavor. Explosion of fruit but also some spice and curry. It tastes like st Rita hills Pinot. Such a classic flavor for me. Cherries, strawberry, baking spice, spearmint, earthy flavors. Maybe the curry I smell. Good acidity. Such a crowd pleaser but also complex to make me happy. — 8 days ago

Really enjoy this one. I wish there was more good aglianico in my life. Rustic, herbs, flowers, plums, dark fruit, tobacco, herbal tea. Great weeknight pasta wine. — 14 days ago

This is great right now. I feel Ernst’s red wines hit a nice spot in 5-7 years. Good fruit with raspberries, earth, baking spices, red apple, some earth. Lovely — 20 days ago

Such a good wine. One of the best in CA. Love the herbs and lighter bodied nature of this one. Cedar, purple fruits, herbs, so fresh but also such good fruit. — 8 days ago

A little overrated. Great stuff with remarkable authenticity and rusticity. It goes places Napa/Sonoma generally doesn’t.

Great value at 21 bones. Smells, tastes, and finishes like Sangiovese from Italy! Good leather and spice. Some red apple and dried flowers. Touch of berry. Not super complex but it sure is nice to drink. — 18 days ago

Definitely central coast. Mint, baking spices, mixed berries, some flowers. I really like this but not as silky smooth as some others from this winery. Not sure if this is due to growing season or just different vineyards. Look forward to trying more — 10 days ago

This is in an interesting place. It’s still very fresh with lemon and fresh grass/hay, but more brioche and ripe apples than I usually expect. Lemon curd and stones, maybe some nectarine in there. Good amount of creaminess and heading towards baked pear/apple territory. Fascinating. Not as good as the donkey and goat chard I recently had, but this reminds me of Chablis meets champagne blanc de blanc. — 17 days ago
