I️ bought this wine upon release when this was a “big” buy for me. Part of the fun of collecting wine is seeing how they develop over time. This bottle is great. 50% Sangiovese 45% merlot and 5% Cabernet. The merlot and Sangiovese really compliment with good dark fruit a hint of oak and pure joy. Too bad it’s a Sunday night. Too bad I️ only have one bottle left. Have to say I️ built my Italian wine collection reading Galloni back in the day and trusting in his taste - it has worked out well so far.

Another beauty. Highly structured and gritty on the palate, long finish, oaky nose. Well done
