2009. Mint, eucalyptus, cedar dust, dried raspberry, orange peel, pomegranate, and sage. Showing some brick tinges but no flavor deterioration. Cinnamon, cedar and dried maduro, savory, cranberry and dusty raspberry, roobios tea, cracked pepper, cardamom, nutmeg and a tiny bit of blistered pepper.
Intense and silky; shifting strata of immense complexity.

Meaty as raw flank steak, but with rose petal, soft strawberry, and albumin. Dusty cola, if that is a thing; morel, chanterelle and shiitake mushrooms and spruce nettle aromas. Driedblack cherry, dried strawberry marinated in plum brandy, insane depth laterally with a grilled watermelon and black plum advising raspberry to enter witness protection. Criminally delicious!#Champy #Burgundy #bourgogne #grandcru #corton #pinotnoir #redburgundy #redburg — 5 years ago
Earthy, plummy and spiced ham nose with morel and cinnamon, and a breeze of mint. Baked tart cherry that sings, with just-sweet cranberry and clove. Everything in perfect order here with 10 years of perfecting! Rose petal, tea leaves, a hint of pepper, long finish of violet that really pulls this one up. the spice echoes the season; China, allspice, and nutmeg. But ultimately a flower shop of floral gorgeousness! #domainecyrotbuthiau #cyrotbuthiau #pommard #burgundy #bourgognerouge #redburgundy #redburg #CôtedOr — 2 years ago
Absolutely gorgeous and approachable 2005 Cathiard. Almost blue in color, dense nose of blackberries, blueberries, asian spice, some stems, hint of licorice. Lush fruit yet pure and elegant with pretty tannins and great length. Super bottle.

Great now but still a baby. Impeccably made, this is perfectly balanced front to back. A deep and pronounced perfume nose shows dark red and blue fruits, a touch of meaty aromas, and subtle spice. The palate is medium+ in acidity (but you won't know it unless you look for it) with ripe and silky tannins that firm up on the long finish. Complex and layered, you can tell from the first sip this is top notch #redburgundy
