Great now but still a baby. Impeccably made, this is perfectly balanced front to back. A deep and pronounced perfume nose shows dark red and blue fruits, a touch of meaty aromas, and subtle spice. The palate is medium+ in acidity (but you won't know it unless you look for it) with ripe and silky tannins that firm up on the long finish. Complex and layered, you can tell from the first sip this is top notch #redburgundy

Absolutely gorgeous and approachable 2005 Cathiard. Almost blue in color, dense nose of blackberries, blueberries, asian spice, some stems, hint of licorice. Lush fruit yet pure and elegant with pretty tannins and great length. Super bottle.

Meaty as raw flank steak, but with rose petal, soft strawberry, and albumin. Dusty cola, if that is a thing; morel, chanterelle and shiitake mushrooms and spruce nettle aromas. Driedblack cherry, dried strawberry marinated in plum brandy, insane depth laterally with a grilled watermelon and black plum advising raspberry to enter witness protection.
