@Delectable Wine this is Damiano Cavallini Colline Novaresi Nebbiolo “Caramino”. Thanks!
Gorgeous nose. Reminds me of SLB 1er Cru made from Nebbiolo. Gorgeous pure mid season cherry fruit. Loads of tweed jacket. Smoke, minerals and tar. Up the wazoo florals. So aromatic and fragrant. Palate has terrific acid and freshness and dazzling purity. Sour and mid season cherries galore. Ripe and juicy tannins and lovely persistence. Rustic in the best way but clean. Love rustically clean wines. Very juicy and zippy. That acid is Fassy and fass approved. Man those cherries! Nice ripe tannins provide structure and depth. Very sappy and pure. — 2 days ago
Intensely mineral, brambly cherry, graphite, chalk?, saline & ferrous, grapefruit pith. Unusual and with a little bite. From Mei Chi. — 12 days ago
Years ago tried, and this time drank under very different conditions- celebrating & honoring news that some Italian friends in the North (& south) are still safe & sound. Fine, grainy tannins, solidly medium weight, lovely rose hips and red fruits on nose & more red fruits & mushroom risotto in mouth. For about 25$ it’s absolutely stellar & a deal. Mountain Nebbiolo is my wheelhouse. And my family took selfies & sent to our Italian fiends. — 6 days ago

Round and honeyed fading into dry and mildly acidic. Honey, golden delicious apples, and lemon. — 15 days ago
Oh man. If the Sizzano is the St. Joseph the Fara is the Côte Rotie. Wow. Insane nose. Honey, roses, so floral. Takes 25 minutes to get crazy. Stunning spice. So pure. Palate is so juicy and deep with such breadth. Big, ripe and juicy tannins. But big. Impactful. So long. Just saps the palate. Truly a fine fine wine. So elegant and nimble yet also has power. This has 15+ years ahead of it. Grand Cru level. Really concentrated. Echoes on the palate. Might be a 9.5. — 6 days ago
