Incredible wine, having it at the vineyard makes it even more special. This wine grows in a high concentration volcanic/copper terroir. The nose is different than anything you’ve held and the flavors keep going and going. Drinking this 9year old brings strong flavors and enhances the minerals of the land around Gut Hermannsberg. Took a bit of exploring on the nose, beautiful red fruits and violets abound and it’s great. One sip and a huge smile as a reflection of the big, bold Cabernet that’s in this bottle. Lovely drop with a clean California finish that keeps going. Yum!! — 2 years ago
