So so good. Cherry flower. Pulverized dried cherries. So aromatic. Licorice. Spice and floral in the background but will develop with air. Wow the cherry is so vivid. What lift. So elegant and pure. What elegance! But has that Boca structure and tannin. So so elegant. Best young Barbaglia Boca ever. So good. Long. Terrific inner mouth aromas. Fruit and florals. Insane concentration and such a baby! So refined. Really refined tannins. Wow this is exquisite. I’ll be back as it opens.
As it opens it becomes more integrated. Terrific ripe tannins. Really refined stuff.

Nose is cherry flower, as this opens some savoriness. Some old Nebbiolo character. Some sweet wood.
Palate is a bit tight. Super elegant cherries. Some bitterness. Very silky. As this opens more sweet cherry fruit. Elegant richness.

Palate is a bit tight. Super elegant cherries. Some bitterness. Very silky. As this opens more sweet cherry fruit. Elegant richness.

N: Black tea, tar, black cherries, the forest, earth, blood, tobacco, a sense of velvet.
P: Black depth, sanguine, slightly chewy,
But very smooth, rich w/o a trace of heaviness. Red/Black fruits, exotic flowers.
I decanted 1 hr, chilled 30 min.

Oh my…like a walk in mentholated, tarry, woody goodness. 80% Nebbiolo/20%Vespolina.
Now that’s brown, Garnet at the rim.
N: Saddle leather, Averna Cherries, Dead leaves, Compost, Pencil shavings, Just the most ever changing , rapturous nose. Transportive.
P: Mahogany,( can you imagine?) Blue fruits, terrific body, acid, tannin balance,
Chewy, raspberries and leather, beef bouillon.
This puts many $100+ Baroli & Barbarescos to shame. Depth, nuance, acids, all in place.
