Blood orange, garrigue, olive, strawberry, blackberry and a bit of heat. The plate is very well done with a strong acid backbone, some matter, some bright red fruit, a soft touch on the side but drying tannins in mid palate. Long rather dry finish with a bright fruit. Too busy enjoying company and an end-of-summer caprese to think too hard about notes on this one. Fresh and lively with some texture and depth. Fruit and florals. This French vermouth is the best dry or white vermouth in the world. It is a wonderful blend of herbs and other botanicals that far outshines common Italian vermouths. It’s hard to find and so good I don’t use it with gin martinis, saving it for vodka martinis, preferably with Belvedere. — 7 days ago

2017 Vintage was very exciting, and this one share many characters. It's a beautiful wine of pleasure, very well désignés by Jean Loron: accessible, greedy, and generous, (10-12€ Nicolas) The intense fruitiness of the Gamay vinified à la Beaujolaise (carbonifère) is elegantly complemented by Pinot Noir which gives it structure and a certain class. perfect for an aperitif, a little refreshed. Vintage 2009 / Wednesday Meatballsday (6) / Ten years old Cahors from Malbec, special cuvee ripened in new wood, a very rich smell with vannilla of course but also chocolate and some cherries.
