Surprisingly, needs quite some time to open up.
After 3h crunchy cherries emerge, black sweet cherries, some wilted flowersC a whiff of black plum plus a healthy pinch of spices.
On the palate this is quite light, savoury, with bright acidity. Much more evolved than on the nose. Nicely polished tannins. Dried cherries and a herby note. Good length, yet lacks a bit of depth.
Holding on very nicely. β 8 months ago
Pop and pour, notes from 4 hrs open. As with the 2018, perhaps the most fascinating Bramaterra I have ever had. On the nose: clove, black raspberry, blood orange, tar, intoxicating perfume. On the palate: stunning acidity and density, high-toned pomegranate, blackberry, blood orange, soft clove. So elegamt, and refined velvety tannin on the close. Again, a singular example. β 14 days ago
Young and primary but opened for science and for the simple reason we had one on hand and wanted nebbiolo with grilled sausages & risotto. Starting to develop- camphor, high acid, chewy tannin, good fruit. A certain elegance that will only come to the fore as the tannins integrate. Fabulous ππΌ @Lyle Fass β 4 months ago
