Light garnet color. Very interesting nose and palate of red fruits, rose petals, dried herbs, black tea, bergamot and sweet baking spices. Hint of eucalyptus on the long, complex and earthy finish. Really impressive on opening. Tastes like a Pinot noir should. Cherries, rose, a bit of fern like hiking in CA redwood grove, there’s some strawberry, some dust, plum skin. Interestingly the aftertaste, maybe 20 seconds later suddenly has a sweetness to it that I really enjoy. Drinking really well now on opening. Grateful to try this. — 3 months ago
