Domaine Faiveley (Joseph Faiveley)
La Combe Aux Moines Gevrey-Chambertin 1er Cru Pinot Noir
It has potential, but I would wait.

Oct 13th, 2024Way more developed and open since last year. Still could benefit from a bit more time, but now starting to feel close to ready.

Oct 30th, 2021Dark fruit and iron/blood on the (lightish) palate but quite a reserved nose. Hopefully these just need a while longer to open up

Apr 19th, 2015Very weird aromas at first. Hard to identify, but I get dust and iron topping the fruit base. Very tannic and dry at first, but after a while in decanter it opened up with classic Gevrey bouquet of dark cherry, blackberry, cassis and white flowers. Still, expected a bit more.
