In a great place right now. Pop corn nose, rich, finessed and intense palate. Deep and beautiful. — 8 years ago
The best Clos de Tart I've tried. Boring and too soft at first, after 2 hours it began kicking in — bright and hedonistic, utterly delicious and long. Yes, yes and yes. — 8 years ago
Great wine, very true to its terroir — you could see the classic RSV notes all the way here. Feminine, elegant, finessed and very gentle. Darkest of cherries, stewed strawberries, autumn forest on a sunny day after rain. Love it! — 8 years ago
I couldn't get over the massive oak wall here, but maybe after a decade this will open up for business. Definitely good potential, but very weak now due to the wood stank. — 8 years ago
No tasting notes needed. This wine is perfect. ♥️ — 8 years ago
Off vintage, this bottle didn't show up for dinner. Funky and tired. Unfortunately we were late with this CSD. — 8 years ago
Disgorged in 2010. Selosse is Selosse and I will never stop loving his wines. This one is a baby, but oh so delicious. — 8 years ago
Superb champagne. Needed time in the glass to get fully going, but it checks all the boxes — great structure, amazing palate of fresh fruit, stone, flowers and even a bit of petrol, fantastic acidity to carry it all. I was suprised to find out it was a Chardonnay dominated blend. My bet would be either Pinot Noir heavy blend or even Blanc de Noirs. Wonderful bottle! — 8 years ago
Wonderful wine that is still in its deepest sleep. Needs more time to mature, but is perfectly enjoyable now. Love it! — 8 years ago
