Well balanced. Good value for money. Acid and mineral. Light fruit. — 2 months ago
Technically sound and classic in style, though it doesn’t quite deliver the excitement one might expect from this famed vineyard. On the nose, aromas of red and black fruits, violets, forest floor, earthy tones, subtle spice, and a touch of meaty savoriness. Mid-weight and silky on the palate, with an underlying stoniness. Elegant and admittedly enjoyable, but it honestly doesn’t fully showcase the pedigree of its origin, which aligns with my broader experience of this producer’s wines. — 2 days ago
We had two bottles and they were both in a really good place. Enjoyed with Beef Bourguignon at Elkstone Ranch in Steamboat Springs. Excellent 7 course farm to table dinner! — 3 months ago
Really enjoying the generous, sensual, textured nature of this vintage and top producers really nailed it. — 2 months ago
An average Merlot from the region. Leather and cherry. Not complex but fine with Italian food. May 2024. — 6 months ago

Medium deep ruby , garnet . Quite rich and deep fruits , with some dusty herbal elements . On the palate also quiet ripe and rich , sweetly fruited . Dark cherry , with some summer fruits , blackberry . Good balance however , with sweet tannin and balanced acidity . Still showing lots of fruit , but drinking now but can can last well , probably improve over the next 5 years or so . — 11 days ago
