Medium dark rubi robe, nose was a bit funky after uncorking. Secondary aromas, dark fruits and asian spices. Round, complex, well evolved but with a ton of time ahead. Great stuff at villages level.
Dark rubi robe, no color evolution, reticent nose of cedar, tobacco and dark fruits. Its a small vintage but the wine is balanced and elegant, drinks well, with these more prominent tannins in better vintages, and lacking a bit of complexity. Its still one of the better 2002 bordeaux we had.
Medium dark rubi robe, nose of cedar wood, top soil and asian spices. Does not look the age in any way. Its a great classical claret, very elegant, just lacks some complexity to get a higher score. Top notch for the price point, very civilized and polished tannins for the year.
This is unctuous, rich, opulent, but has great acidity and is very light on its feet. A fantastic Barsac. Really great and contrarily to conventional wisdom, great as an aperitif.
