Second bottle and very consistent with the first one (that is wrongly posted as a Morey St Denis) — 18 days ago
Short story we dont like it. Very modern, likely to have had malolactic on barrel, toasted wood, there is little if any transparency here, no terroir, just wood tannins and fruit. No thank you. — 19 days ago
Very dark rubi robe, nose of dark berries, spices and blackcurrant. Great freshness in a low octane for 2015 and extremely well done. Might develop more complexity but great right now. — 7 days ago
Medium rubi robe, nose of tea infusion, camphor, crushed flowers and dried cherries. Very fine and light on its feet, this is a classical Barolo that after decanting drinks very well now. — 15 days ago
We had two bottles both excellent. No specific notes but textbook complex and elegant NSG with a lot of concentration (but not over extracted) thanks to very old vines. Great stuff. — 21 days ago
Medium dar rubi robe, more like a grand cru burgundy than a St Emilion. Nose of top soil, asphalt, tobacco, cherries and a hint of flowers. Very light on its feet, with a great length on tannins that are velvety in spite a touch of green ness in the end. A great Figeac and such a wonderful bottle. — 24 days ago
Medium dark rubi robe with good transparency, nose of asian spices, dark fruits and notes of tobacco. Utterly delicious in the mouth, this is truly a north appellation wine that is closer in style to a Vosne Romanée. Great now, but better in 5 to 7 years. — 12 days ago
No specific notes but excellent wine with the typical vinification of whole clusters for at least part of the harvest. Again excellent. — 19 days ago
A new cuvée we dis not know. Good stuff with fine bubbles and good length. — 22 days ago
Alexandre Pagliano
Very dark purple ink robe, nose of cedar wood, top soil, flowers and cherries, with a touch of spices. Its high octane but light on its feet, less complex than the usual as it has no cabernet franc. Frankly long and very complex, an excellent Evangile, that is very drinkable now but has a lot of potential. A few pros noted the marked wood tannins during the futures tastings, here its well integrated and will probably be better in a few years. — 7 days ago
