Medium dark rubi robe, with slight fading on the rims. Nose of dark cherries, crushed flowers, top soil and spices. The wine is still reserved in the mouth even after one hour uncorked, very long and complex, still marked by the whole grape vinification, but tannins are polished and velvety. Another 5 years in the cellar will for sure payoff. This is an incredible red burgundy and it does not get much better than that. Enthusiastically recommended. — 10 days ago
Small vintage but drinking great now. All cabernet franc in style, elegant, polished, and excellent bottle but cant compare with their best vintages. — a month ago
Just a tad hair under the prior bottle, this is a great Spätlese and one cannot tell its over 22 years old, so its fresh and balanced. Excellent stuff. — 9 days ago
Dark rubi robe, nose of top soil, asphalt, leather and cedar wood with hints of tobacco and blackcurrant. Classical cabernet in the mouth, peppery and complex, medium bodied, great length, steak tartare. Sooo good ! — 13 days ago
Was good and balanced but lacks that extra depth we expect from great Barsac. Bought en primeurs en France and stored in a perfect cellar in Paris from delivery. — a month ago
Very fresh and balanced still, with good length and grand cru quality. 100% Chardonnay. We like it a lot. — a month ago
We are not historical fans of La Grand Dame but certain vintages are special, thats the case of 2018. This one has the special edition packaging signed by Jacquemus the french designer. — 9 days ago
One of the very best vintages they did recently. Elegant, complex, good density and length and that undeniably superior quality of this cuvée. We love it. — 17 days ago
Dark rubi robe, no fading or bricking on the reams. Nose of cedar wood, top soil, blackcurrant and violets. Silky and elegant in the mouth, polished tannins, ever so slightly grip at the end, overall very cabernet and excellent freshness and tension in this medium bodied wine. Its now called Les Perrières de Lafleur and goes for over double the price. Excellent wine !!! — 18 days ago

Very light and elegant Chambolle, not overly extracted, done in a classical way. Great now, probably much better in 5 years. — 8 days ago
