Really good Cote Rotie at low octane and great balance and tension. There is less and less of this these days. Lacks complexity thats the only thing that holds it from a higher score. — 8 days ago
No specific notes but this was frankly great. Surprisingly open, but will shutdown anytime soon. Great stuff and for the quality its a bargain. — 11 days ago
We had it on a restaurant. Its a pinot from the Loire, very fine and elegant, we had a most enjoyable experience with it. Great QPR. — 5 days ago
Dark rubi robe, nose of cedar, dark cherries and asian spices. Medium bodied, oh so elegant tannins, notes of tobacco, berries and anise. Very long, very elegant. This is probably as good as it gets in terms of elegance and complexity in Rive Gauche Bordeaux other than first growths, and not by much. Enthusiastically recommended. — 8 days ago
A bit of a disconnect between the exotic nose and the very mineral and fresh mouth. At the end a really excellent white burg that punches well above its weight. We liked it a lot. I think @Ira Schwartz had same experience with the disconnect ! — 10 days ago
No specific notes on the wine but a very very good bottle of crozes with lots of cache. We liked it ! — 6 days ago
What a nice surprise of a nice, fresh and yummy Cabernet from Lebanon. We loved it. — 7 days ago
Medium rubi robe, very clean and crystal clear. Nose of dark cherries and spices, anise. Very polished tannins, good density and complexity, medium bodied, very drinkable but oh so long and so young. We decanted one hour before. Deserves 4 more years in the cellar if you can resist. We will likely not :) — 10 days ago
Dark rubi robe, nose of black cherries and some floral notes. Round and pleasant, perhaps lacking a hint of freshness. Drinks well with food and is excellent QPR. — 17 days ago
Alexandre Pagliano
Medium dar rubi robe, more like a grand cru burgundy than a St Emilion. Nose of top soil, asphalt, tobacco, cherries and a hint of flowers. Very light on its feet, with a great length on tannins that are velvety in spite a touch of green ness in the end. A great Figeac and such a wonderful bottle. — 4 days ago
