Medium dark rubi robe, nose was a bit funky after uncorking. Secondary aromas, dark fruits and asian spices. Round, complex, well evolved but with a ton of time ahead. Great stuff at villages level. — 9 days ago
Dark rubi robe, no color evolution, reticent nose of cedar, tobacco and dark fruits. Its a small vintage but the wine is balanced and elegant, drinks well, with these more prominent tannins in better vintages, and lacking a bit of complexity. Its still one of the better 2002 bordeaux we had. — 11 days ago
Medium dark rubi robe, nose of crushed flowers, spices and dark berries. Very dense and complex, great length, minerality and lift. Gorgeous and just starting. — 3 days ago
Consistent with prior bottles, excellent wine. — 5 days ago
Lacks complexity but its a truly excellent bottle and is singing now. Really good wine that is long lasting in bottle. Classical style. — 10 days ago
No specific notes but an excellent bottle and fantastic QPR. Better in 4 to 5 years for sure. — 4 days ago
Medium dark rubi, nose of dark berries. Very balanced and fresh, young, has potential for more years, and its excellent QPR. — 5 days ago
This is unctuous, rich, opulent, but has great acidity and is very light on its feet. A fantastic Barsac. Really great and contrarily to conventional wisdom, great as an aperitif. — 11 days ago
Dark rubi robe, nose of spices and cedar wood. Good underlying fruit but oh so much new wood here. Spoiled the wine. Not for us. — 12 days ago
Alexandre Pagliano
Medium dark rubi robe, nose of dark berries, flowers, spices and top soil. Medium bodied and ready to drink but no rush. Good length, very complex and works wonderfully with food. We loved it. — 2 days ago
