My god, the regular Chambolle is brilliant too! Special vigneron here.

Fruits of the forest, Turkish delight, beautiful acid, rose petals, and just breathtaking structure. This is knock out stuff. One of the best Pinots I've drunk. Wine for lovers.

The fruits are dark; watered down blackberries, dark cherries, black plum, dry tannin structure, understated earthiness, chalk pops, crushed stones, acidity is nice. Body is a little thin and the finish is soft but falls slightly short.

Opened with a very pretty bouquet of earth and flowers, but went to sleep for a couple hours before reappearing with some depth and spice. Probably just a little too young for this village wine.

Very tight, but has all the stuffing to be great.

Bright red fruits, rose petal and blood orange. Lovely elegance and balance acidity and tannins are well integrated.

What a wonderful Chambolle Musigny. Typical to its fact sheet of fresh acidity and delicate fruits but there is more to this wine with a little tanic attitude a darker fruit profile not heavily so but enough to be a firm wine if you are chosing between two CM's.

Ugly duckling vintage in my opinion so we decanted it for 2-2.5 hours. Village level, striking way above its league. I would perhaps confuse the nose with high quality Central Coast Pinot from a cold year (to my shame), but it's way deeper, more layered and complex and the palate proved it with fabulous ripe red berry tones, late harvest dark cherry and white flowers. Very feminine and elegant, feels like the first day of summer.
