This Haut Bailly is gorgeous still young tasting with red currant, dark cherries, burning embers and graphite. In a good spot now but can go another 15 years no problem! — 4 years ago
Light and elegant with very little structure holding it together. This wine was not able to escape the challenges of the vintage. Drink over the next 5 years or so while there is fruit still left. — 4 years ago
Decanted. Cassis, mocha, dried herbs and graphite. After 15 minutes in the glass blossomed beautifully. Long life ahead of it. Enjoyed it at my Uncles 73 birthday. — 4 years ago
Limes, lemon verbena, wet slate some petrol and an endless palate. So elegant and sophisticated with notes of gardenia as the wine sat in the glass. Glorious and still vibrant. — 4 years ago
Dark fruits, graphite, caramel and zesty acidity. A delicious 2008 that has a lot of life left in it. — 4 years ago
Dark red currant, rosemary and white chocolate. This wine is in need of just a bit more time in bottle. Has a bright future. — 4 years ago
Somewhat muted notes of raspberries, flowers, and cinnamon. I wine that seems to be peaking but is nevertheless representative of its terroir. Excellent — 4 years ago
Soft contours give this wine its personality. Dark cherries, graphite, plums and spices. This wine is very representative of the 2012 vintage. Not a blockbuster, but delicious nonetheless. — 4 years ago
Initially reticent in the glass but after 30-45 minutes it really opened up. Dark raspberry, rise petal, spices and orange peel. Glorious wine to enjoy now and over the next 10 years or so. — 4 years ago

Dark yellow in color pineapple, herbs and coffee notes. In a hot spot now. I wouldn’t hold on to bottles more than a couple years it seems to be at peak. — 4 years ago
