Didn’t expect much. Not a great Napa vintage. Passive storage, but in only one place since release. Basically this is what the Burgundians say “If you want to drink Burgundy, you can wait 50 years for Bdx to become Burgundy or you can just buy Burgundy”. 🤣

Truly one of the better 2000’s I’ve had. Needs an hour or more to open up but glorious fruit and texture once it does. Silky like cashmere. Black fruits galore. Better to hold your bottles for another five years. The best is yet to come. — a month ago
