Part of a lineup of 10 european wines my wife arranged for a birthday tasting with a number of friends.
Rich but not overpowering nose of black berry and black cherry accompanied by cocoa and floral notes. Classic Bordeaux palate of cassis, earth, and cocoa powder finishing with some cherry and medium, well integrated tannins. This, like most of the '15's I've had is very nice young.

Good cassis and blueberry. Tannins are still firm. The wine is restrained in a way you’d expect from the vintage. — 2 months ago
Sean Boyd nailed this Mourvèdre! Smoke, tar, blackberry compote, and wildflowers with a touch of salty sea air. In fact, I just want to keep my nose in the glass! I expected something big, like a Bandol. This is certainly relatively full-bodied, but the fruit, lean tannins, and a touch of succulent acidity are harmonious. I suspect this will easily cellar another 7-9 years. Paired with duck breast and asparagus and wild mushrooms. — 4 months ago

Grapey refined smell with tons of tannins, rich purple color, thick, prunes galore — 2 months ago
Very nice with cedar, tar, herbs and some berries all around. Enjoyed with a simple beef stew. — 4 months ago
Nice wine, still needs to be aged. 2008 — 3 days ago
Fantastic value. Typical Margaux aromatics but lacking in taste. Gritty tannins. I would rather be drinking this at dinner than a $50 Napa cab. — 24 days ago
Sweet on the nose and soft on the finish. Merlot is standing out and making this big. Nice. Good value too. — 3 months ago
