Drinking Lee’s Pinot Gris from his first wine at the new winery! The grapes are sourced from Niagara as the vineyard has just been replanted with new vines. #countycollab #pinotgris — 5 years ago
Super quaffable #pinotgris - apple, white peach aromas, weighty palate with lots of acidity, green apple, peach, goes down too easy. Great QPR for under $8 #costcowines — 8 months ago

The bouquet smells like honeyed peach. This wine feels effervescent on the tongue even though it is not a sparkling wine. Rocks are the theme of the palate. It tastes of stone fruit with minerality in the finish. Great with Vietnamese-style baked chicken. — 5 years ago
#pinotgris from #nzwine #martinborough okay overpriced but still lovely and textural. Lots of ripe Granny Smith and green water pears in the nose and palate. Also a bit flinty (screwcap) lemon rind, honey, ripe pineapple...my God as I’m writing this tasting note I’m liking it more and more. Has some Rieslingesque qualities and just a pinch of sweet ripe fruit on the finish — 5 years ago
Delicious #alsace #pinotgris - do yourself a favor and let this warm up a bit in the glass. Nose has lemon oil, marzipan, lanolin - bright acidity on the palate, white pepper at the very end. — a year ago
baked apples and spice and super glicerol texture. #pinotgris #alsace #frenchwine #france #zusslin — 4 years ago
Fascinating #willamettevalley white from #apollonivineyards. I had the distinct pleasure of being served this wine from the winemaker/owner Alfredo Apolloni, who made the trip for a tasting event at a local Houston wine bar. Alfredo was humble and engaging. He walked me through this wine, choosing to age 25% in acacia wood barrels so there’s a really compelling white citrus blossom aroma mingling with grippy tannins, hints of vanilla but no malolactic fermentation to preserve freshness and acidity. The acid bite is offset with forward fruit on this #pinotgris — 5 years ago
