Love the floral, tropical nose here. Yes it’s off-dry but plenty of tension to keep things lively. Very good Indian or Thai food wine. Strong QPR Costco #oregon white blend. — 4 years ago
Very much in the style of the Sandhi wines from Santa Barbara. Touch of flint, matchstick, lemon pie and cream. #oregon #chardonnay #eolaamityhills — 5 years ago
I feel tired of these matchstick, reductive #chardonnay yes, we know, you can leave solids from the press...yes we know you can make this style of wine, but for me it’s a bit of a one pony trick show. Lacking body, lacking finish lacking acidity. #oregon #eolaamityhills — 6 years ago
#leftcoastcellars delivers Scrumptious and full flavored for #pinotnoirs. “Slurpable” as described by @Nicolette Hill! Loaded with red fruit flavor cherry 🍒 and raspberries; great with any meal. #willamette #willamettevalley #oregon #oregonwines #latitude45 #dijonclone we enjoyed this so very much! — 7 years ago
Toasty, oaky and rich, but not overdone. Low alcohol, in the 13% range. Dead ringer for a good Mercurey or Rully. #troussechemise #oregon #yamhillcarlton #chardonnay — 8 years ago
Sass is always one of my favorites for the price but I hadn't tried this vintage yet. As always, the fruit is ultra bright and expressive. There's no doubt about it, this has that natural wine vibe to it. Slight VA makes the aroma explode out of the glass... raspberry, blackberry and sour cherry. It's very lifted and lively. Slightly hot and the fruit is maybe a touch astringent. Structurally, this wine lacks delineation but it's delicious anyways. It's a different take and a more honest wine than most in the price bracket. Last time I talked to Jerry Sass he told me he was using less and less so2. Very cool.

Graceful #yamhillcarlton #oregon #pinotnoir. For a 12 year-old Pinot, first day impression was it drank quite young. Second day the age shows a bit more with some initial oxidative funk that melts away revealing a still youthful and lithe core. Alluring Burgundian nose with layers of cherry, limestone, forest floor, kola nut, faint white mushroom. Throughly enjoyable palate with pleasingly plush texture, energetic acidity, sweet tobacco and long pepper on the finish. Gossamer tannins build on the palate after the inevitable repeated sips - this feels like a QPR benchmark for Oregon Pinots. — 4 years ago
Slightly cloudy appearance, dull not bright. Discovered tiny pieces of solid matter in the glass so seems unfined and unfiltered. Definitely better uncorked than Coravinned, needs to breath a little. With Coravin there’s some reductive notes and vegetable notes. Medium(-) aromas that remind me of stems and fermentation (tank sample) definitely som stems in the ferment. Warm alcohol on the nose and on the palate. Still, good balance between the intensity and the richness of ripe red fruit and the acidity. A little too much alcohol sensation for me. #eolaamityhills #oregon #oregonwine #pinotnoir — 6 years ago
The palate confirms the nose with mineral and citrusy aromas of limes, pears and green apples. Well-balanced acidity. 12.8% ABV. A very refreshing chardonnay from the Eola-Amity Hills in Willamette Valley, Oregon, USA.
The pioneers used the name Eola as a reference to the aeolian harp. A wind instrument named after Aeolus, the Greek god of the wind. The gap in this area of the Willamette Valley ushers in howling winds from the Pacific Ocean which are then trapped in the Coastal Range. Cheers!

Such strength from a #pinotrocks truely #oregon in color and structure. Light caramel and chocolate wafers entrance my smell perception and then they are supported by lovely acidity and a long finish. Excellent. Tasted it side by side with Domaine Drouhin Dundee Hills and I much preferred this to that — 7 years ago
Crisp and fresh with a mouth fill of ripe peach and apple skin. Dry and acidic.
Aroma of peach rings.
Light and crisp body, quick finish.

Complex nose with earthy mushroom, black plum and raspberry, some mixed tobacco and cola nut. Cedar and dried raspberry, trumpet mushroom, smoky blackberries, and a wound up chicory and coffee. Brimming with goodness.

Mikey likes it. Reasonably priced. As it says on the label “light fruit forward silky rich” #pinotnoir #oregon #willamettepinot #willamettevalleywine — 6 years ago
Medium(-) intensity aromas and flavors. Mild soft with light sweet cream aromas and flavors. Very enjoyable, but lacking spark. #chardonnay #oregon #oregonchardonnay — 6 years ago
Super crunchy rosé of Pinot Noir by Montebruno. It is summer. It is fruit. It is light. It is clean and balanced. It is also holding it, enjoyed it 4 days in a raw without argon or pump!

Nuances of raspberry, leafy earth, rosewood, and lavender. Medium plus mouthfeel that exudes dense, ripe plum and scorched raspberries, with a soft note of rosemary, rose petal, nettle and tar. Porcine notes. Excellent stuff! #pinotnoir #Boedecker #pinot #pn #singlevineyard #burg #oregonpinotcamp #oregon #Dundee — 8 years ago
2013 vintage. Tulips, ripe cherries in tree, raspberry essence. Holly and spearmint apparently had a winter tryst under a spray of delicate cranberry blossom. Pickled strawberry and dry pinecone emerge from a smoky cave, there is a citrus whiff, from a nighttime grove ringed by oregano. Light mouthfeel with electric potential. Subtleties abound. Cranberry meets rolled, red apple skin, chewed leather, applewood chips, bitter cherry, dried rose petals and smoky, red saffron. #pinotnoir #oregonpinotnoir #sheavineyards #oregon #pinotparadise #noir #noirs #boedecker #pn #pinotweknow — 8 years ago

Wonderful flavors of cherry, chocolate, raspberry. Excellent tannins and a beautiful finish. I first tried this at the winery near Ashland, Oregon. This wine is outstanding. It is a total re-buy at only $35 at the winery. Only 8 barrels were produced for the 2020 vintage. It paired beautifully with smoked brisket I paired it with. #oregon #oregon #montepulciano — 2 months ago
