Is always amazing to try Wines that are as old as you are (almost). The wine was on the brick of falling apart the only thing that was still there was fruit and a lot of vanilla from the oak, possibly American. Worth it a sipp just for the experience. #semillon #huntervalley #australian #andiswines makes a similar wine with single Vineyard from #amador — 3 years ago
Good #cab for the price, I'm iffy on most #Australian cabs but #twohands is a great producer — 6 years ago
Clear and bright deep ruby
clean, pronounced red fruit notes like red cherry, black fruit like bramble and black cherry, MLF cream, oak vanilla coconut, choco, oxidation almond and caramel
dry, medium- acidity, high ripe and fine tannins, high alcohol full body and pronounced intensity flavors #shiraz #barossa #australian #penfolds — 3 years ago
The first time I tasted this wine 6 weeks ago was at a large tasting and it had been double decanted. The second time tasting the wine was straight from bottle over three hours. The two were completely different. Straight from bottle was more of a classic #australian #shiraz , big, bold, chewy, and lacked balance. Whereas the double decanted bottle was more in the realm of #coterotie

Famous #australian #riesling from the #clarevalley made by #accolade company #leasingham . From the hot season of #2003 though mot looking shabby; pale gold yes; spice and restraint not strong kero or honey; backward a little; evolving fruit; blessed by screwcap; 12.5%. — 4 years ago
I initially did not like the 2013 Benefactor. In the beginning the nose was not pleasing and had odd scent to it. However after realizing it was actually way too cold we allowed it to get to an appropriate temperature. When it reached a better temperature it opened up with some nice aromas of apples and I would say River rock. Once it opened up there were touches of Citrus, pears, apples and a touch of oak to the taste. This is not a fabulous Chardonnay but it is drinkable and hopefully a good conversation with friends will make it enjoyable all the more. #Australian #chardonnay — 4 years ago
