2010. Great textbook example of Aussie Sem. "Prison hooch," my tasting group and I dubbed it: if we went to jail and all we had were a Brita water jug, we'd drop sliced lemons and a fresh rubber band inside... We would have delicious, low alcohol, high acid lemony Sem, or at least a great approximation of it. Fabulous texture here. Like the inside of your mouth got a paraffin wax spa treatment.

Is always amazing to try Wines that are as old as you are (almost). The wine was on the brick of falling apart the only thing that was still there was fruit and a lot of vanilla from the oak, possibly American. Worth it a sipp just for the experience. #semillon #huntervalley #australian #andiswines makes a similar wine with single Vineyard from #amador
