I initially did not like the 2013 Benefactor. In the beginning the nose was not pleasing and had odd scent to it. However after realizing it was actually way too cold we allowed it to get to an appropriate temperature. When it reached a better temperature it opened up with some nice aromas of apples and I would say River rock. Once it opened up there were touches of Citrus, pears, apples and a touch of oak to the taste. This is not a fabulous Chardonnay but it is drinkable and hopefully a good conversation with friends will make it enjoyable all the more. #Australian #chardonnay

Surprisingly tasty! Crisp at first but a nice buttery finish.
